Abstract

[Also in Divisions F3-F4] A tube end plate comprises sections 10 having recesses 14 in the upper and lower faces to accommodate tubes 15 which are located therein and two complementary sections are secured together by an adhesive 16. The sections are moulded from a fibre loaded plastics material, or are extruded and the adhesive retains some flexibility on curing. The end portions 11 of the sections are of increased thickness and the recesses are part cylindrical.
