Abstract
1,261,796. Toy gun. J. R. DUNCAN-KING. 21 May, 1970 [20 March, 1969], No. 14799/69. Heading A6S. A toy gun comprises a tubular member 1 having an opening 3 at one end, having a diameter less than that of the main tube, and having the other end closed by a resilient diaphragm 4 the arrangement being such that when the diaphragm is struck, a vortex of air is ejected through the opening 3. The diaphragm may be attached to an auxiliary tube extending from the main tube in which case the end opposite the opening 3 carries a transparent plate optionally carrying markings which, used in conjunction with cross-wires fitted in aperture 3 form a sighting means for the gun.
