Abstract

1,261,465. Woven fabrics. KUNSTWEVERIJ DE HUIFKAR N.V. 9 April, 1970 [18 April, 1969], No. 17015/70. Heading D1K. In a fabric having plain ground weave and woven-in figuring, the warp is formed by groups of warp threads 1..3 and the weft by ground weft threads 4, 5, and figuring weft threads 6, one warp thread 3 of each group forming with portions of figuring weft threads 6 floating below the ground and with ground weft threads 4, 5, a sateen weave, the other wrap threads 1, 2, forming with the ground wefts 4, 5, the plain ground weave. The weaving repeat of the sateen weave between threads 3 and 6 is equal to that of the sateen weave between threads 3 and 4, 5 and each interlacing point 9 between threads 3, 6, lies next to an interlacing point 7, 8, between thread 3 and a ground weft thread 4, 5.
