126,116. Rawdon, C. R., Heitmann, J. H., and Hall, C. D. April 26, 1918. Air-tubes.-An air-tube comprises an ordinary rubber portion 5 adjacent the rim and an outer part built up of a thin rubber liner 4, fabric &c. 3, leather or like puncture-resisting material 2 and an outer fabric &c. layer 1 which at the tread part is not attached to the body of the tube. The edges of the various layers are stepped as shown, and an inner protecting strip 6 of fabric may be secured by its edges to the layer 1.
