1,258,887. Date-indicating. DAINI SEIKOSHA K.K. April 10, 1970 [April 16, 1969], No. 17197/70. Heading G3T. A date dial guard 3 has projecting arms 3b and is fastened to a watch movement by screws 5. The arms 3b have recesses 3c enclosing dial pins 7, and are relieved to avoid contact with the face of a date dial 2. Alternatively the dial guard is of constant section and the date dial relieved. In an alternative embodiment the dial guard is circular and coextensive with a dial 4.
