Abstract

1,257,479. Electric arc wire spray coating. CASTOLIN S.A. Dec. 16, 1968 [Dec. 15, 1967], No.59691/68. Heading C7F. An electric arc wire spray coating process in which an arc is produced by two consumable electrodes of the main coating material 17, and a powder forming a component of the coating is introduced into the main coating stream at a point 4<SP>11</SP> beyond the point at which the arc is struck. In an example bronze wires are used as the electrodes and powdered Sn is introduced at 4<SP>11</SP>.
