Abstract

1,255,451. I.C. engine cylinder liners. DAIMLER-BENZ. A.G. April 22, 1970 [April 23, 1969], No.19283/70. Heading F1B. In an I.C. piston engine having a liner 20, Fig.1 secured directly on the cylinder head 11, the liner has an upstanding collar 18 between inner and outer annular sealing surfaces of a flange at its end, the inner and outer flanks of the collar serving respectively to centre and secure the liner to the cylinder head.
