[Also in Divisions Dl, D2 and F2] A door-locking bolt is formed of several portions 28a, 28b .., 28n, each with rounded ends 33, housed in cavities 27 the walls of which have projections 25, 26 connected to a door 6 and vessel 1 respectively. Operating means 29, 30 act on either end of the bolt to move it from one position where each portion of the bolt is in engagement only with the vessel or the door to another position where two portions engage both the vessel and the door and vice versa. The operating means may comprise pneumatic or hydraulic pressure cylinders.
