[Also in Division A4] A frame for a container comprises a pair of frame parts 11, 12 connected for pivotal movement between an open position, and a closed position in which a U-shaped surface of one frame part lies in juxtaposition with a corresponding U-shaped surface of the other frame part, each frame part being composed of a plastics or rubber material mixed with a ferromagnetic powder, the powder having been permanently magnetized in such a way that said surfaces are of opposite polarity throughout their length, so that the frame parts are urged magnetically towards their closed position. The frame can have an auxiliary mechanical fastener 20, 21.
