Abstract
1,253,223. Polyolefine articles. JAMES M. BROWN Ltd. 21 Nov., 1969 [19 Nov., 1968], No. 54929/68. Heading B5A. An article comprises an embossed portion forming part of the article surface and a portion forming the remainder of the surface, the portions being integrally bonded together during moulding without adhesive, and both being formed of a polyolefine. Both body and skin may be of the same material, e.g. polyethylene or polypropylene, and may be of different colours, e.g. blue and white, c.f. Wedgwood. In an example, a white strip of polyethylene is inserted in a recess in a mould cavity against which a blue polyethylene bubble is blow-moulded to form an urn.
