Abstract

1,253,086. Track and support, for toy vehicles. MATTEL Inc. 16 Jan., 1969 [19 Dec., 1968], No. 27939/70. Divided out of 1,253,084. Heading A6S. Apparatus for use with a toy vehicle comprises a vehicle track means, a track support means and attachment means for attaching the track to its support wherein the attachment means includes a bracket on the support and a channel means on the track means, whereby the bracket is loosely coupled with the channel means when the bracket is in a first position relative to the channel means, and the bracket is securely coupled when it is in a second position relative to the channel means. In Fig. 3 a bracket or land is sited on a support, or trestle, and the channel means may be sited, e.g. on an extension sited on the inside of a curved and banked track (Fig. 3), or on the underside of a normal track section (Fig. 5). Two or more trestles may be connected on top of each other by means of undercut keyways (174) and keys (176) (Fig. 4, not shown) thus providing a two or greater level interchange.
