Abstract

1,253,000. Cabinets. STREATER INDUSTRIES Inc. July 17, 1970 [Aug. 7, 1969], No. 34852/70. Heading A4B. A cabinet comprises spaced posts having vertically extending slots, brackets extending in a generally horizontal direction having hooks inserted into the slots, vertically spaced shelves, each attached to and between brackets supported by respective posts, and longitudinally extending sliding door adaptors attached to the front ends of the shelves, the adaptors having sliding door track means, and at least one sliding door disposed between oppositely and mutually facing ones of the track means. As shown, the ends of the shelves 11, 13 and 15 may be made with a sloping front surface 28, and a notch formed in the top surface. The adaptors 41, 43, 45 are formed with an inner contour matching the shape of the shelf ends. The adaptors are formed with integral door tracks, may be of plastics material, and may be formed by extrusion. They may be slid on to the shelf edge.
