A paper planographic printing plate comprises a back coating of a water, casein, ammonia, china clay and zinc chloride solution mixture, a front coating of a casein, water, ammonia and china clay mixture and a printing surface on the front coating of a mixture of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, ammonia, china clay, copper sulphate, chromium trioxide, ferric oxide, tartaric acid, sodium bisulphate and water.
