Abstract
1,250,886. Grilles. BRITISH ALUMINIUM CO. Ltd. 10 Dec., 1968 [5 Dec., 1967], No. 55302/67. Heading D1K. An extruded metal grille has a wall part 12 from one side of which protrude a number of parallel limbs 13. The wall part 12 is perforated at spaced intervals to enable flaps 16 to be pressed from the wall part 12 to form an opening 18 and to extend between the limbs thus forming an open cell like structure. Part 17 of the flap 16 may be cut away. A single flap 16 may extend from one edge only of the opening 18 or alternatively two flaps may be provided each of which extend from opposite edges of the opening. The wall part may be straight or curved. Two wall parts may be provided integrally connected but arranged at an angle to each other so as to define a side angled "V" in cross section, Figs. 4, 5 and 6 (not shown).
