Abstract

1,247,529. Cabinets. PLASTRA S. A. Nov.28, 1968 [Nov. 29, 1967; July 8, 1968 (2)], No. 56633/68. Heading A4B. A collapsible cabinet 1 comprises spaced apart, rigid, rectangular, front and rear frames (5, 6) inter-connected by panels 2 1 , 2 2 , 2 3 releasably secured to the frames, each panel including a rigid element 16 enveloped between flexible sheets 17. Several panels may be formed in one piece; as in Fig. 3, by incorporating spaced rigid elements 16 covered by sheets 17 welded or otherwise secured together to define hinge lines 19. Such a panel may define a door 21 with an integral panel 20. The hinge line 19 may be reinforced with flexible tongues (108), Fig.6 (not shown) extending across the hinge line. Shelves 10 1 -10 3 may be supported on L-section supports (9 1 , 9 2 ), Fig.4 (not shown) rigid with the frames or by brackets (12) Fig.5 (not shown) selectively hooked into openings (11) in the frames. The panels forming top, bottom and two sides may be formed in a single length, Figs. 7, 8 (not shown).
