Transparent or translucent polymer compositions, particularly P.V.C., contain a heat and light stabilizer and one or more dyes such that the light absorption spectrum shows a minimum value of transmittance in the range 3800- 5900 Š. Optional additives are those defined in Specification 1,163,720. The compositions are formed into films or plates for use in horticulture.
