Abstract

124,679. Pickering, F. G. Oct. 10, 1918. Clips, band.-A band clip for securing rubber &c. sleeves to metal pipes &c. comprises a metal saddle-piece 1 having a concave seating 2, and a length of wire, cable., chain, metal strip &c. 9 provided with screwed terminals 8 which are adapted to pass through holes in the saddle-piece and be secured by nuts 11. A metal plate 12 may be provided to lock the nuts against vibration. The holes in the saddle-piece that takes the ends of the wire may have open slots to enable the wire to be released from the saddle-piece without removing the nuts.
