Abstract

1,246,508. Scored tablets. J. R. GEIGY A.G. 20 Nov., 1968 [21 Nov., 1967], No. 54959/68. Heading ASB. Tablets which can be broken accurately and easily into predetermined portions have a breaker-score formed by two score-faces which meet at an acute angle, preferably of 50 to 55‹, and wherein the foot points forming the base line of the score progressively approach the median horizontal cross-sectional plane of the tablet (i.e. the depth of the breaker score increases) towards the periphery thereof. The tablets may be provided with a single or cross score, Fig. 1, and the foot-points forming the base-line of the score uniformly, Fig. 3, or non-uniformly fall towards the periphery of the tablet.
