1,244,536. Hydraulic presses. DOMKRAFT A.B. NIKE. 3 Oct., 1969 [3 Oct., 1968], No. 48823/69. Heading B5F. In an hydraulic press having a press cylinder 5, a lower press member 3 is adjustable in height by means of a fluid-pressure piston 16 and cylinder 8 connected to the press member 3 by flexible connecting means such as wires 11, 12 or chains. The wires 11, 12 are connected at one end to the press member 3 at 13, 14 and at the other end to the press frame 2. The wires 11, 12 pass around pulleys 17, 20 carried by the piston 16. The press member 3 is held at the desired height by two split pins 4.
