Abstract
1,242,885. Rolling-up dough. NEDERLANDSCHE FABRIEK VAN BAKKERIJWERKTUIGEN V.H.G.J. BENIER N.V. 23 Oct., 1968 [1 Nov., 1967], No. 50215/68. Heading B5A. A device for rolling up dough slabs 2 comprises a dough transport means e.g. a conveyer belt 1 or drum, for transporting the slabs 2 beneath a roll-up mat 4 trailing on the belt 1 and loaded by a transverse pressure roller 5 which is guided by a track 7 which both ensures that the pressure roller 5 initially runs parallel to the belt 1, as it is displaced therealong by the dough being rolled, and returns to its initial position against a stop. In alternative embodiments, Fig. 3 (not shown), the guide track is defined by the belt which is upwardly inclined in the direction of movement of the belt the mat being supported at both ends above the belt and, Fig. 4 (not shown), the pressure member may comprise a rounded beam guided for radial movement along a rocker arm which is pivoted transversely to the belt and loaded by a counterweight at the end of the other arm thereof.
