Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-Fuel nozzles containing valves which are opened by the pressure of the fuel have a passage c containing a spring-loaded valve h for returning to the pressure chamber q any fuel which leaks past the valve spindle d. The invention is app.icable to the nozzles for one fuel described in Specifications 20582/09 and 9382/15, and to nozzles with two co-axial valves for injecting two fuels described in Specification 124,642.
