Abstract

1,240,878. Constructional toy. TRENDON Ltd. 9 July, 1969 [30 July, 1968], No. 36245/ 68. Heading A6S. A sectional toy comprises several pieces, including a substantially flat base, 1, with parallel grooves 2, in at least its upper face, and a plurality of edge grooved elements 3, 7, 10, 15 capable of being interengaged with each other and of being erected by interengagement with the base. The elements may have a single groove 13, 8 or two parallel grooves 5, 16. A multigrooved element 3 may act as a "key" element with which other single grooved elements are engaged. The base is preferably rectangular with grooves in both of its opposite faces. The elements may be of such a form and arranged so as to represent a man kicking a ball 15. The base and elements are preferably of moulded plastics material of formed from sheet plastics material. Ciroular elements may be engaged with the lower face of the base so as to represent a vehicle.
