Abstract

1,239,059. Support for filter bag. J. PAUSCH. 29 July, 1968 [3 Aug., 1967], No. 36003/ 68. Heading B1T. [Also in Divisions E1 and E2] A filter bag 28 is secured around a supporting collar 44, and is internally supported by a skeleton framework 30 demountably secured to the inside of collar 44 by cooperating helical wire and groove means 40, 46. As described, the bag is fastened around the collar by a band 50 and tensioned by a device 54 (see Division E2). The filter (Fig. 1, not shown) is of the type described in Specification 1,239,058. The filter bag can be periodically rotated by hand with respect to the framework to spread the wear load evenly over the fabric.
