1,238,719. 5-(2-carboxyphenoxymethyl)tetrazoles and tetrazolo(5,1 - c) - 1,4 - benzoxazepinones. T. J. SMITH & NEPHEW Ltd. 28 Oct., 1969 [1 Nov., 1968], No. 51781/68. Heading C2C. The invention comprises compounds of formulµ wherein R 1 is H, C 1-6 alkyl, C 1-6 alkoxy, halogen or CF 3 . The tetrazolo-benzoxazepinones are prepared by dehydration (e.g. using SoCl 2 ) of the carboxylic acids, and the latter are prepared by hydrolysis of the corresponding anilides (in which the N-phenyl group may contain up to 2 substituents each defined as for R 1 ).
