Abstract

1,237,535. Window fastenings. E. HOLDEN & CO. (B'HAM) Ltd. 24 July, 1968 [8 Aug., 1967], No. 36273/67. Heading E2A. A window fastener comprises a handle 10 mounted to pivot on a bush 15 extending through aligned holes in the end portion of the handle and in portions 13a, 13b of a supporting part 13. The supporting part is secured to a window or frame by a screw 19 engaging in the bush 15 and by a screw 18 extending from an opening in portion 13b. There are washers 16 between the end portion of the handle and the portions 13a, 13b. The handle has an offset surface 11 engageable with a keeper projecting from the frame or window.
