Abstract

1,236,496. Two for one twisting device. HAMEL G.m.b.H. ZWIRNMASCHINEN. 3 Nov., 1969 [10 Dec., 1968], No. 53724/69. Heading D1D. In two-for-one spinning spindles a bobbin having a tapered upper portion 22b which lies in the tapered upper portion of the yarn balloon is used. Thus a greater quantity of yarn can be twisted in one run than is possible with the normal square ended bobbin. A flyer 29 with guides 30, 32 takes off the yarn. A balloon limiter 24 and a balloon guide ring 28 are provided. (For Figure see next page)
