1,235,044. Locks. HEINRICH SUDHAUS SOHNE. 14 July, 1969 [13 July, 1968], No. 35245/69. Heading E2A. A lock for a container, e.g. a suitcase, comprises a casing 1 attached to the container body and having a spring-loaded, slidable latch bolt 10, and a spring-loaded, pivotably mounted hasp 3 attached to a lid of the container; the hasp in the locked position engages over the casing and has on the lower side thereof one or more bent-down lugs 7 which engage with one or more inclined tongues 11 on the latch bolt, the lugs and tongues being disposed outside the lock casing.
