Abstract

1,229,572. Releasable fastenings. C. R. TYRER. 22 April, 1968 [20 Jan., 1967], No. 3106/ 67. Heading E2A. An attachment means 10 for tying down a cover sheet 14 is made of substantially rigid material and has a flat plate-like first portion 11 of trapezoidal form capable of being secured to the cover sheet and a second portion 15 of substantially triangular form, integral with the first portion and of increased thickness relative to the first portion, there being in the second portion a hole 16 for attachment thereto of a fastening rope or a hook. The device described is made of a moulded plastics material such as low density polythene and in a modification two second portions disposed side by side are provided.
