Abstract

1,221,155. Transistor oscillator circuits. SWF-SPEZIALFABRIK FUER AUTOZUBEHOER GUSTAV RAU G.m.b.H. 11 July, 1969 [14 Aug., 1968], No. 35001/69. Heading H3T. [Also in Division G4] In a flashing light signalling device, especially for direction indicating lamps on vehicles, which includes a multivibrator timing device with two transistors T 1 , T 2 , a voltage divider R 2 , R 5 is connected between the negative and positive leads in series with a make contact b controlled by a relay B in the lamp circuit, the tap of the voltage divider being connected via capacitor C 2 to the collector of transistor T 1 and directly to the base of transistor T 2 . In the event of failue of one of the lamps L, a reduced current passes through relay B, contact b remains open, an increased voltage charges capacitor C 2 , and the lights (including a warning light inside the vehicle) flash more rapidly. Resistor R 1 is connected via operating switch T and lamps L to negative, so that the multivibrator stops when the light system is switched off. For this purpose also, the base of transistor T 1 is connected via resistors R 1 , R 4 with the positive lead.
