Abstract

1,220,988. Turret lathes. A. MONFORTS. 29 April, 1968 [29 April, 1967], No. 20300/68. Addition to 1,206,367. Heading B3T. A capstan lathe as described in the parent Specification but wherein an additional work station is provided in which at least one work holding device 14, which is disconnected from the main spindle, is held against rotation to permit the machining of a workpiece 15 by displaceable tools 17 and 18. The displacement of the tools 17 and 18 is effected from the machine drive and as shown the tools are intended for boring and broaching respectively.
