Abstract

1,220,673. Supports for signs. F. R. PEGG. 26 Feb., 1968 [3 Dec., 1966], No. 54209/66. Heading G5C. A sign 1 is connected to a support such as a shelf 3 by a resilient arm 2, comprising a coiled spring 4, arranged so that vibrations or air currents, such as those in supermarkets, keep the sign in more or less constant oscillation. The outer end of the arm 2 may be secured to the sign 1 by riveting which may also secure a weight 6. The arm may be supported on the shelf 3 at 7, 8 as described in Specification 1,220,674.
