Abstract

1,219,616. Cornices. TELEPROMPTER CORP. 22 July, 1968 [2 Aug., 1967], No. 34860/68. Heading E1B. A cornice concealing a wire 23 comprises a series of resilient brackets 14 secured to a wall by an adhesive strip 19 and a slat 13 held between hooks 17 and 18 on the arms of the brackets which have been resiliently displaced apart. The lower edge of the slat is also connected to the wall by a flexible adhesive hinge between the brackets. In a second embodiment adhesive strips are embedded in recesses at the edges of one of the legs of the brackets instead of covering the whole of the rear surface thereof. In further embodiments the brackets are flat and rigid and the slat is resilient and sprung therebetween.
