Abstract

1,217,658. Refrigerators. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. 9 Dec., 1969 [16 Dec., 1968], No. 60020/69. Heading F4H. [Also in Division B8] The freezing compartment 1 of a domestic refrigerator is provided with an ice-piece dispenser in which ice pieces are produced by any known type of automatic ice maker 2 and discharged into a storage bin 4. The pieces are dispensed as required through an orifice 9 by a helix 19 and a screw 17 driven by an electric motor 26.
