[Also in Division B8] A metal beer can has an epoxy-phenolic film 13 on the inside of the can wall 1, the film being applied by a roller and cured at 200‹C for 15 to 25 minutes and a similar film 14 on the inside of the two ends; a further vinyl film 15 is applied by 'roller over the film 14 and cured at 175‹C. for 15 to 30 minutes; a strip of vinyl film (16, Fig. 2) is applied internally over the longitudinal seam in the wall 1 and is dried by air and by the residual heat in the can resulting from welding or soldering of the can seam; finally a vinyl-type film 17 is sprayed overall the internal surface of the can and is set at a temperature of 150 to 180‹C.
