Abstract

[Also in Division H2] For demonstrating electrical circuits, a printed diagram 3 of a circuit is so arranged that, when positioned on a board 1, its circuit junctions correspond with the positions of apertures 2 which are laid out in a matrix on the board. Connections between the wire ends of electrical components are made by passing the wires 6 through an aperture 2 and inserting a nut and bolt fastener 8 to hold the wires and establish electrical connection between them. The fastener is preferably of brass and the bolt has a tapered head 11 extending into the aperture, while the knurled nut 12 has convex surfaces 13 and 14. However, the tapered portion may be on the nut and one or both of the elements may be of plastics. In the latter case, electrical connection is established by a metal eyelet in the aperture. A component not having wire ends may be mounted on a wired platform supported on a bolt through an unused aperture 2.
