Abstract

1,210,544. Tights. K. W. BAYNES. 7 May, 1968, No. 21469/68. Heading A3V. A garment comprises a body portion 12, one integral stocking portion 11 to cover one leg of the wearer, and an opening 16 for the other leg 15 of the wearer. Two of these garments 10 may be superposed so that they form a pair of tights. The garment may be made of cotton, jersey wool, rayon, nylon or other polyester or polyamide material in a non-run mesh and may be knitted on a circular knitting machine or made from cut and seamed knitted fabric. Alternatively the stocking portion may be formed from a straight bar knitting machine.
