Abstract
1,206,773. Cartons. MARDON, SON & HALL Ltd. 22 Feb., 1968 [25 Feb., 1967], No. 9114/67. Heading B8P. A carton comprises a tubular body 11, 13 with an opposed pair of end walls hinged to an opposed pair of side walls 13, each end wall comprising an inner flap 16 and an outer flap 15 interconnected, by a connecting panel 17 so arranged that the outer and inner flaps are spaced from one another axially of the carton when erected. As shown, the inner flap and connecting panel are provided with a common aperture 20 to receive a portion of an article such as an Easter egg. In a modification, a single endwall is provided so that the inner and outer flaps extend right across the carton.
