Abstract

1,206,737. Slags and slag cements. N. V. HERWIE. 14 May, 1969 [1 April, 1969], No. 24628/69. Headings C1H and C1K. Granulated slag is dry ground (defined) mixed with up to 20% b.v. of liquid fuel and then burned to dry the slag. The product has latent hydraulic properties and can be mixed with cement (which can be finer than normal) to form concrete. Soil can be stabilized and ceramic material (e.g. clay) dried by admixture with the slag product.
