Abstract

1,203,866. Tray tipping apparatus. RHONEPOULENC S.A. 14 Nov., 1968 [15 Nov., 1967], No. 54048/68. Heading B8E. Apparatus for tipping trays of bottles in a sterile atmosphere comprises a plate 4 having end discs 5 rotatable about a horizontal axis through it on half-shafts 6. Sleeved bearings 7 have annular bearing members 8 inclined to the axis of the shafts 6 on which channel section members 10 can be rotated supported by bearing rings 9. The members 10 are driven by the plate 4 during its rotation by pins 14 entering holes 13 and the flange portions 12 provide support elements for the trays which can be inserted on the lower flanges and after rotation removed as in the upper position the flanges 12 move apart due to the inclination of the bearing surfaces 8, 9.
