A Co alloy consists, by weight, of Cr 20 - 21% Ni 10 - 11% Mo 6 - 7% C 0 - 0À07% Mn 0 - 0À2% Si 0 - 0À3% W 0-7% Fe 0-2% Co and impurities (e.g. S) - balance. Reference is made to annealing followed by ageing at 1600‹ F. to illustrate retention of ductility.
