Abstract

1,200,861. Double twist spindle. HAMEL G.m.b.H. ZWIRNEREI-UND SPINNEREIMASCHINEN. 6 March, 1969 [28 March, 1968], No. 12016/69. Heading D1D. In a double twisting spindle having a stationary nozzle 25 for spraying liquid or gaseous media onto a running yarn, the nozzle is directed towards a deflecter plate 9 mounted on the thread storage disc 8 so that the yarn can pick up the medium from the plate. The nozzle can be controlled by a valve 28 operated intermittently by a relay device 29. The spray intervals are preferably equal to or greater than the time taken for one revolution of the deflecter plate.
