Abstract

1,199,533. Pillows. MUSEXPORT Ltd. 27 May, 1968 [7 June, 1967], No. 25310/68. Heading A4M. A foam pillow has a level lower surface (9) and an upper surface comprising elevated convex side portions 1, 3 with soundabsorbing holes 4, a recess 7, a trough 5 with a horizontal base 14, and an elevation 6. When on his back, troughs 5 and elevation 6 respectively support the user's head and neck. When on his stomach, base 14 and elevation 6 respectively support the cheekbones and chin, the nose being placed in recess 7. When on his side, portions 1 or 3, which have a height corresponding to the shoulder width, support the head. The pillow is respiratory active by being formed of interconnected pores.
