Abstract
1,197,338. Electric incandescent lamps. EGYESULT IZZOLAMPA ES VILLAMOSSAGI RESZVENYTARSASAG. 13 July, 1967 [12 Aug., 1966], No. 32244/67. Heading H1F. In an uncandescent lamp bulb containing a tungsten filament and a filling of inert gas and iodine, part of the iodine sufficient to reduce blackening of the bulb is replaced by one or more of the other halogens. At least 8% and preferably one-third of the iodine normally added is replaced by bromeni or at least 1% of the iodine may be replaced by chlorine and/or fluorine. The filament may contain up to 0.05% of one or more of iron, aluminium molybdenum and potassium and up to 0À01% of one or more of nickel, chromium, calcium and sodium.
