Abstract

1,197,051. Wall brackets. DESIGN & CONTRACT ASSOCIATES (LONDON) Ltd. 4 July, 1967 [12 April, 1966], No. 15942/66. Heading A4B. A wall bracket comprises an upright element 2 carrying a horizontal arm 4, the element 2 having upper (16) and lower, 22, apertures to receive wall-fixing screws and carrying above the lower aperture 22 a threaded stud 30 fixed to a circular plate 32 which bears on the wall whereby rotation of the stud 30 varies the inclination of the element 2 to the wall. The element 2 is of channel section and the stud 30 threads through a plate 26 secured between the channel sides (14). The adjustment is effected prior to securing the lower fixing screw. The arm 4 comprises two back-toback channels and supports a shelf and/or a drawer unit (34, Fig. 5) having top rails 38 supported on the lower sides 8 of a pair of spaced arms 4.
