Abstract

1,195,074. Clothes airers. RAILWARE Ltd. 4 Nov., 1968 [23 Nov., 1967], No. 53294/67. Heading A4U. In a clothes airer of the kind disclosed in Specification 927,187 a rotatable head block 20 slotted at 22 for passage of rails 24 is retained on the body 10 by an arcuate spring metal retaining member 38 having a flange 40 and tongue 44 engaging a rebate 36 and aperture 34 in the body 10, and a projection 42 biased into engagement with an annular or part annular recess 32 in the head block. The projection resiliently deforms when the head block is fitted on the body.
