1,193,598. Bearings. DœRKOPPWERKE G.m.b.H. 10 Feb., 1969 [20 March, 1968], No. 7008/69. Heading F2A. A tapered roller bearing comprises an inner race ring 1 having a guide edge 2 for the tapered rollers and an outer race ring consisting of a conical sleeve 6 provided with radial flanges 7, 8 and a casing ring 9 which has a cylindrical outer face and a conical bore. The sleeve is drawn from sheet metal, and the casing ring may be of glass fibre reinforced polyamide, brass, or bronze. The casing ring is provided with a mounting flange 10.
