Abstract
1,193,089. Vortex amplifiers. NATIONAL RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT CORP. Jan. 8, 1969 [Dec. 7, 1967], No.55723/67. Heading G3H. A vortex valve has its main and control flows introduced tangentially with the control flow opposing the main flow to reduce its momentum. The flows X and Y are arranged as shown in Figs.4, 5 or 7, and in the latter arrangement the two flows are obtained from a single source A via a porportioning amplifier B.
