1,192,789. Auger delivering a measured quantity. F. A. CHANDLER, [trading as FARM ELECTRONICS & INSTALLATIONS]. 16 Sept., 1968 [1 July, 1967], No. 30440/67. Heading B8A. The auger 6 delivers a measured quantity of material by performing a predetermined number of revolutions, the counting of the revolutions being effected by microswitch 1 operated by a cam mounted upon the shaft of auger 6, the pulses being fed to solid state counter 7 so that the latter after a required number of revolutions stops the motor 3. Counter 7 is preset to give the required quantity of material. Counter 9 registers the number of revolutions after the performance of a plurality of operations of the auger, whilst knob 8 controls the speed of the motor.
