Abstract

1,190,530. Reversible ploughs. C. C. E. DEMBLON. 7 Nov., 1968 [22 Feb., 1968], No. 52901/68. Heading A1B. A device in a reversible plough for hydraulically turning over a plough hindcarriage 1 mounted on a pole 3 with respect to a plough head 4, comprises a double action ram 7 pivoted on a pin 5 and a shaft 8 and rigidly connected to a casing 9 of a distributing head 10 by pipes 16 and 17, a key 11 being fast upon the shaft 8. Pipes 22 and 23 are connected to a distributer on a tractor. To turn over the hind-carriage 1 oil is caused to flow through pipes 22 and 16 to force rod 6 upwards. In the vertical position there is a force flow of oil throughout the piping because lands 21 of the key are slightly narrower in width than parts 18, 19. Past the vertical position the flow of oil is through pipes 22 and 17. Shaft 8 is carried by bearings (12), Fig. 2 (not shown), rigid with a support (13) which is adjustable heightwise with respect to the plough head 4.
