Abstract

A circuit for removing sudden short changes of input signal amplitude comprises an R.C. circuit 3, 4 having a time constant longer than that of an input signal applied thereto, means 6 producing a control signal dependent upon the difference between input and output signals of the circuit and means 2 which disconnects the input when the control signal exceeds a given value, the disconnection ceasing if the difference persists for a given maximum period. As shown the maximum disconnection period is controlled by a time constant circuit 8, 9.
